the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia. As a
Champion, our goal is to help companies across the state
discover a new way of doing business - one that's good
for the environment and good for the bottom line. We
have made a commitment to help the Sustainability
Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources
promote this voluntary Partnership. The Sustainability
Division staff is available to help businesses and
organizations find ways to operate more efficiently and,
at the same time, protect Georgia's natural resources.

Georgia Solar Tax Credits Spur Economic Growth

With the signature of Governor Nathan Deal, Georgia's solar energy tax credit is increasing to $5 million annually in 2012, 2013 and 2014 from the current $2.5 million yearly limit. The new law, which the General Assembly approved last month, helps ensure that the vibrant solar energy industry in Georgia continues to thrive, creating jobs and new investment opportunities statewide.
