Peter H. Marte, President/CEO,
Hannah Solar LLC
Peter Marte is CEO and Founder
of Hannah Solar, LLC, an
alternative energy developer and
integrator. Pete brings over
ten years of experience in
engineering and energy. Peter
worked for CTI Industries in
Fairfield, Connecticut as a
sales engineer, leading the
maritime division under direct
supervision of the company’s
President. CTI is a leader in
the preventative maintenance of
heat exchangers for energy
generation, maritime propulsion
and cooling systems. In 1992 Mr.
Marte installed his first 3KW
wind turbine on Block Island,
Rhode Island.
Peter moved to Atlanta in 1993
and founded ThunderHead
Distribution, a Georgia beer,
wine, spirits and non-alcoholic
wholesale distributor . During
his ten year hiatus from
engineering, he and his team
built an alternative brand
powerhouse in the long
established distribution
business, successfully selling
the company to a key employee
and an investor group in 2004.
Peter continued in the
distribution industry as
Director of Sales, South Region
for the Flying Dog Brewery a
Denver, Colorado based
microbrewery. He was responsible
for sales in 13 states, with 28
wholesalers and generated 42% of
companywide sales.
Peter lives in Atlanta with his
wife and two young children,
Hannah & Cooper. He graduated
from Maine Maritime Academy in
1985. |

Patrick T. O'Donnell, Managing
Partner
Pat began his career with the
Bic pen company as a Regional
Sales Manager covering the
Southern U.S. After completing
the M.B.A. program at Emory
University, Pat started his own
real estate and construction
company. Following the
completion and sale of his last
home renovation, he joined
commercial property developer
Ultima Holdings as a Vice
President of Multifamily
Housing. A highlight of Pat’s
time there included development
of the first transit-oriented
mixed use project in Atlanta.
Over the next 10 years Pat would
go on to work in commercial real
estate for companies such as
Trammell Crow Company and Holder
Properties. Well versed in
multi-family, commercial, and
retail development Pat has a
strong interest in mixed used
and urban infill projects. He
spent the last four years
working with landowners,
architects, and engineers to
acquire, design, and develop
live/work/play projects in major
urban centers.
Pat’s areas of professional
expertise are in real estate,
partnerships and joint ventures,
design and site planning, and
project finance, with core
competency in large scale
project development. Pat
earned a Bachelor of Science,
Business Administration from
Miami University in 1989 and his
M.B.A from Emory University in
1995. |

Sherry Wheat has over 20 years experience working with government and small businesses in planning, development,
project management, and business to business marketing. From 1986-1995, Sherry was a
practicing Landscape Architect, and member of the design and development team that oversaw the $43 Million Parks and
Recreation Bond Referendum for the expansion of DeKalb County’s Park System. Sherry selected
and facilitated Special Task Forces and community Steering Committees to develop park master plans and management
policy; oversaw design development and build of approximately $10 million of park improvements; oversaw a
yearly management budget of approximately $750,000 for a 1700 acre park district; evaluated property for land
acquisition and park development; monitored and inspected projects for compliance; worked with county
governmental leaders, athletic associations, and advisory committees; coordinated community planning teams, design
consultants, construction managers, contractors, as well as and state, local and federal agency representatives.
In
1998, Sherry founded Telesales,
Inc a Business to Business
Marketing Firm working with
small and medium sized
businesses supporting business
development and sales
initiatives. Partnering with
other marketing agencies,
Sherry’s team incorporates
integrated marketing approaches
to increase the productivity and
success of client marketing and
sales efforts. Ms. Wheat earned
a Bachelor of Arts from American
University and her Master’s
Degree in Landscape Architecture
from the University of
Pennsylvania. |
